Father John Misty Taps Destroyer For Winter 2025 Tour

Father John Misty posted a slate of 2025 Winter Tour dates with Destroyer along for the run. Father John Misty also shared the single, “She Cleans Up,” from his upcoming album, Mahashmashana.
Mahashmashana, the sixth Father John Misty album released by singer-songwriter Josh Tillman, will be released on November 22 via Sub Pop Records. Tillman previously confirmed European tour dates in support of the album.
Father John Misty kicks off his tour with Destroyer on February 12 in Chattanooga, Tennessee at The Signal. Father John Misty then heads to Atlanta for a performance at The Eastern on February 13, followed by a show at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on February 14. The Valentine’s Day concert precedes a stop in Louisville at Old Forester’s Paristown Hall on February 15.

The tour keeps rolling on February 17 at Kemba Live! in Columbus, Ohio. Father John Misty then plays The Fillmore in Detroit on February 18 and Stage AE in Pittsburgh on February 19. The tour’s sole Canadian date comes on February 21 at Toronto’s Massey Hall.
The jaunt continues with a performance at MGM Music Hall in Boston on February 22, followed by a show at the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston, New York on February 23. Father John Misty then heads to Brooklyn for a concert at Kings Theatre on February 25.
The last stretch of the tour with Destroyer includes stops at The Fillmore in Philadelphia on February 28 and The Anthem in Washington D.C. on March 1.
Presale tickets go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16 at 10 a.m. local venue time (code: honeybear). General tickets go on sale on Friday, October 18 at 10 a.m. local time.

“She Cleans Up” joins the previously shared Mahashmashana singles “I Guess Time Makes Fools of Us All” and “Screamland,” featuring guitarist Alan Sparhawk of labelmates Low. Tillman’s frequent collaborator Jonathan Wilson executive produced Mahashmashana and was part of the team of supporting musicians.
The eight-song follow-up to 2022’s Chloë and the Next 20th Century was co-produced by Tillman and Drew Erickson who also performed on the album. Other contributing musicians included Dan Bailey, Eli Thomson, David Vandervelde, Chris Dixie Darley, Jon Titterington and Kyle Flynn.
