Farm Aid Shares Pro-Shot Clips Of Wilco Set From 2009

Over the past few years Farm Aid’s YouTube page has been the source of many amazing live performance videos from throughout the event’s history. Just yesterday Farm Aid organizers shared their professionally-shot footage of Wilco’s set at Farm Aid 2009 in St. Louis.

Wilco had released Wilco (The Album) a few months prior, but only played one song off the LP -“Bull Black Nova” -during their six-song set at Farm Aid ’09. Jeff Tweedy and Co. tipped a glass to family farm supporter Woody Guthrie with “Hoodoo Voodoo,” let guitarist Nels Cline go wild on “Impossible Germany,” showed off their soulful side with “Hate It Here,” dipped back to their 1995 debut for “Casino Queen” and included fan-favorite “Heavy Metal Drummer” for good measure.
