Kenny Chesney Leads Farm Aid 40 Lineup Additions

Kenny Chesney, Wynonna Judd and Steve Earle have joined the already stacked Farm Aid 40 lineup. The 2025 installment of the annual event will take place on September 20, 2025 at Minneapolis’ Huntington Bank Stadium.

Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Margo Price will headline the festival, which raises funds for and brings awareness to the plight of family farmers. Waxahatchee, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Trampled by Turtles, Eric Burton (Black Pumas), Jesse Welles and Madeline Edwards will also perform at Farm Aid’s Minnesota debut.

Willie Nelson will be joined at Farm Aid by his Family, while Dave Matthews will be accompanied by Tim Reynolds and Neil Young will take the stage with . Tickets for Farm Aid 40 are on sale now.

“We’re excited to have Kenny Chesney back on the Farm Aid stage this year,” noted Farm Aid co-excecutive director Jennifer Fahy of Chesney’s fourth appearance at the annual benefit. “He’s one of many artists who have returned to Farm Aid, generously donating their travel and performances to raise awareness about the family farmers who grow good food for all of us. Kenny’s appearance, along with the addition of music legends Wynonna Judd and Steve Earle, will make this an unforgettable anniversary event.”
