Experience Hendrix Taps Heavy Hitters For 2024 North American Fall Tour

The Experience Hendrix Tour featuring all-star tribute concerts to the late Jimi Hendrix relaunches this September after a five-year break. The trek spanning September 19 – 29 will hit 24 North American markets with ace guitarists Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Taj Mahal, Samantha Fish, Dweezil Zappa, Eric Johnson and Zakk Wylde among participants in the revolving lineup.

Others set to take the stage during the 2024 Experience Hendrix North American Fall Tour include Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Noah Hunt, Chuck Campbell & Calvin Cooke, Stanley Jordan, Ally Venable, Mato Nanji, Dylan Triplett, Ayron Jones, Artur Menezes, Mathias Lattin and Henri Brown. Special guests are to be announced.

“I’m excited to rejoin the Experience Hendrix tour this year,” noted EH vet Kenny Wayne Shepherd. “It’s always been a great tour with exceptional artists honoring Jimi Hendrix, the greatest guitar player of all time, and his amazing and expansive catalog of songs. Being able to do a tour with friends always makes for a great time and this show is not to be missed.”

Experience Hendrix began as a one-off event in 2001 and hit the road in 2004. Though a single event was held two years ago in Austin, this fall marks the return of the full-fledged tour for the first time since 2019. Lineups for each show are posted on the tour’s website and subject to change.

The 2024 Experience Hendrix North American Fall Tour begins in Washington state with concerts in Seattle on September 19 and Spokane on September 20. A series of additional West Coast stops follow including shows in Oregon, Nevada, California and Arizona through a performance in Albuquerque on October 5. The tour then makes its way east via Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee and Georgia to conclude in Florida with tributes in Clearwater on October 17, Pompano Beach on October 18 and St Augustine on September 19.
