Exclusive Premiere: Twiddle ‘Syncopated Healing’
By Scott Bernstein Dec 8, 2015 • 8:10 am PST

This Friday, December 11, Vermont-born quartet Twiddle puts an exclamation point on a big 2015 with the release of their long-awaited fourth studio album, PLUMP. Today, we’re excited to premiere a track off PLUMP a few days ahead of its release.
Ever since debuting the funky “Syncopated Healing” at their FRENDLY Gathering in Windham, Vermont on June 27, 2013 the tune has become a fan favorite and setlist staple. Twiddle guitarist and vocalist Mihali Savoulidis tells JamBase about the genesis of the song, “I wrote ‘Syncopated’ about my wife who gets up so early to go to work. One morning she said to me: ‘I don’t wanna go, but at least you have a show tonight. You better play my favorite songs.’ That is reflected in the lyrics pretty clearly.” Listen to the studio version of “Syncopated Healing”:
Twiddle returns to the road this weekend for a pair of gigs at Paradise Rock Club in Boston. The foursome will end 2015 and start 2016 with a three-night stand at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont that spans New Year’s Eve to January 2.
