Exclusive Premiere | T. Hardy Morris – Disaster Proof

Last month we debuted Blips, a recurring column featuring under-the-radar up and coming acts. Our inaugural post featured singer-songwriter T. Hardy Morris, who had recently released his solo debut, Audition Tapes, which we described as “the perfect Sunday morning soundtrack to cure your hangover after a night of cheap whiskey shots, Bud tall boys and cigarette smoking.”

With a mission to continue to follow the progress of our Blips picks, today we are proud to debut Morris’s latest music video for the track “Disaster Proof.” Inspired by The Georgia Trust’s annual “Places In Peril” list, Morris and filmmaker and photographer Jason Thrasher traveled to 10 historic sites throughout Georgia to film live performance videos of each song on the album.

For “Disaster Proof,” Morris and Thrasher chose to shoot at the Lexington Presbyterian Church, in Ogelthorpe County, Georgia. Morris explains the location choice to JamBase, “I’ve driven past this church literally hundreds of times between Athens and my hometown of Augusta, GA. When we saw it was on the (Places In Peril) list, I knew we had to film a song there.”

With that, let’s check out T. Hardy Morris’s video for “Disaster Proof”:
