Exclusive Premiere | Pan Astral – When Summer Comes

Denver quartet Pan Astral are gearing up for a short run of dates leading up to the band’s high-profile appearance at this year’s Electric Forest. Today, we’re proud to exclusively present the group’s new single, “When Summer Comes.”

Pan Astral features Gabriel Otto, Kipp Koren, Mike Smith and Tad Lusk. Otto may be best known to our readers as the vocalist who joined Lotus in the David Byrne role for last year’s Talking Heads Deconstructed sets. “When Summer Comes” is a catchy tune that we bet will stick in your head for days to come. “This is a song about the heaven on earth otherwise known as Summertime in the Flathead Valley of Montana. Growing up there, I went to great pains to desert any semblance of responsibility during the Summer. More than one occasion saw me staying out in the woods for days at a time with friends and somehow losing an article of clothing, and this is where most of the inspiration for the song comes from,” Otto told JamBase about “When Summer Comes.”
