In 2006, G. Love released Lemonade, his second solo album. The LP features a number of guest appearances including Jack Johnson on “Rainbow.” The exclusive premiere of “Rainbow” from the new episode of Front And Center can be viewed below. G. Love reveals he played the song with Jack the first day he met Johnson. A second video shared below finds Jack Johnson talking about how he gets nervous before taking the stage, but usually calms down within the first few songs. He also reveals he grew up making surf films and it’s still strange for him to be on the other side of the camera. Johnson discusses how he hopes his songs connect with listeners as he aims to take something that’s very personal to him and make them general enough that they engage those who hear them.
