Exclusive Premiere: Greg Loiacono – ‘The Red Thread Part I (The Gloaming)’

On September 23 founding The Mother Hips member Greg Loiacono will release his debut, full-length solo album Songs From A Golden Dream. Today, JamBase is pleased to premiere the first single off the LP, “The Red Thread Part I (The Gloaming).”

Greg shared the following about the tune, “This song is an invitation. The big, legato, harmonies throughout the verse are there to draw the listener in musically and lyrically. I struggled with how the lyrics should fit over the groove for a while. A song by Deerhoof, that sounds nothing like this, inspired me one morning and somehow helped me finish the song.” With that in mind have a listen to “The Red Thread Part I (The Gloaming)”:
