Eric Clapton Announces Final U.S. Show Of 2014

Legendary guitarist Eric Clapton has hit the road with a new band in 2014 and today has announced his fourth and final U.S. date of the year. Clapton’s brief U.S. tour includes a headlining performance at Jazz Fest in New Orleans, which starts the run on April 27. Then, Slowhand and his band play Mud Island Amphitheatre in Memphis on April 29, before ending the tour with visits to Oak Mountain (Pelham, AL) on May 2 and Chastain Park Amphitheatre (Atlanta, GA) on May 3.

Eric has mixed members of his 2013 band with old friends to form a new group as in 2014 EC has been backed by Nathan East (bass), Steve Gadd (drums), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Paul Carrack (keyboards), Sharon White (backing vocals) and Michelle John (backing vocals).

According to Where’s Eric, season tickets for the venue go on sale March 2 at 10 a.m. ET at chastaintickets.com. Individual concerts go on sale to the general public on March 15 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.com.
