By Andy Kahn Jul 27, 2018 • 6:34 am PDT

Elvis Costello & The Imposters will release a new studio album entitled Look Now on October 12 through Concord Records. The album includes two currently available singles, “Under Lime” and “Unwanted Number.”
Costello was joined on his first record with The Imposters since 2008 by keyboardist Steve Nieve, bassist Davey Faragher and drummer Pete Thomas during sessions held in Hollywood, New York City and Vancouver. The 12-song Look Now is Costello’s first album since the 2013 collaborative album with The Roots, Wise Up Ghost. Four additional tracks are included on the deluxe edition of the pending release.
Co-produced by Costello and Sebastian Krys, Look Now contains two songs co-written with the renowned Burt Bacharach — “Don’t Look Now” and “Photographs Can Lie” — which also feature Bachrach on piano (Bacharach also co-wrote “He’s Given Me Things”). Costello co-wrote “Burnt Sugar Is So Bitter” with legendary singer-songwriter Carole King.
Costello was recently forced to cancel several European tour dates in order to recuperate from cancer surgery. Costello will resume touring in support of Look Now in November. Stream the two lead singles, “Under Lime” and “Unwanted Number” below:
