Elvis Costello Shares New Single ‘Hetty O’Hara Confidential’

Elvis Costello shared a new single, “Hetty O’Hara Confidential.” The acclaimed singer-songwriter described the new tune as, “The tale of a tattler who outlives her time.”

Produced by Costello, “Hetty O’Hara Confidential” was recorded at Suomenlinnan Studio in Helsinki, Finland with engineer Eetü Seppälä. Costello previously shared the track, “No Flag.” that came from the same recording sessions. Another new song will be released on August 14.

Costello is credited on “Hetty O’Hara Confidential” with playing upright piano, Hammond organ and Fender Jazzmaster guitar, as well as “mouth,” “rhythm ace” and “all other noises.” Accompanying the new song was a video created by Eamon Singer and Arlo O’Furlow.
