Elise Testone Details Upcoming Winter Tour

Singer-songwriter Elise Testone has announced an 8-show Winter Tour that will start with a “Happy Funk’n Mardi Gras” performance at Brooklyn Bowl in NYC on Tuesday, February 9. Testone will present a night of NOLA-inspired music as well as classic funk featuring a band that includes keyboardist Todd Stoops (RAQ), saxophonist James Casey (TAB), trumpeter Jay Jennings (Snarky Puppy), trombonist Matthew Hartnett (Lauryn Hill), guitarist Bob Lanzetti (Snarky Puppy), guitarist Adam Fallen (Skylar Grey), bassist Antoine Katz (Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles), drummer Sydney Driver (Rhythm & Stealth), and vocalist Sami Stevens, performing the music of The Meters, Allen Toussaint, Tower Of Power, Dr. John, James Brown and more.

Following the Brooklyn Bowl performance, Testone will play additional shows with a band featuring Fallen, bassist Jed Lingat, keyboardist Trey Cooper, drummer Avishai Rozen (Ateller) and Stevens. Stops on the run include visits to Pawley Island, Charleston, Washington DC, Teaneck, New York City, Pawtucket and Bridgeport.
