Colorado-based Americana act Elephant Revival have teamed with the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (NNIRR) to raise awareness and understanding of the current refugee and immigrant crisis happening around the world and in the United States. Earlier this year Elephant Revival released their latest studio album, Petals, and the track “When I Fall” is about overcoming adversity. The band has shared a video for “When I Fall” which depicts an immigrant family walking a difficult path to freedom while working against the elements.

Elephant Revival’s Daniel Rodriguez said of the song, “We’re heartbroken thinking about all of the refugees and innocent people in our world who are experiencing war and watching their communities destroyed and people they love die. We are fortunate enough to be able to go home each night and feel safe and secure. They have to get up and walk to whatever country will take them in, while trying to keep their families alive. It puts the world into perspective. We just hope more people open their minds and hearts to the realities of what’s taking place.”
