Electric Forest Announces Initial 2017 Lineup

Electric Forest 2017 will take place over two weekends next summer in Rothbury, Michigan. The first weekend will take place June 22 – 25, 2017; while the second weekend is scheduled for June 29 – July 2. Today, organizers have detailed the initial lineups for both weekends.

While there are many acts who will play both weekends of Electric Forest 2017, organizers promise two unique weekends and that none of the eight total days will be the same. The String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar, Odesza, My Morning Jacket and Above & Beyond will headline the first weekend, while SCI, Bassnectar, an act to be named and DJ Snake will headline the second weekend. Big Gigantic, Lotus, Claude VonStroke, Bob Moses, A-Trak, Brazilian Girls, Con Brio, Lettuce, Papadosio, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Spafford, TAUK, The Floozies, The Infamous Stringdusters and The Motet are among the acts aboard for both weekends. Many more lineup additions, as well as special programs and additional Curated Events, will be announced well into 2017. Note The String Cheese Incident will present a very special SCI Sound Lab Live experience on the first weekend and the traditional SCI Saturday Shebang on the second weekend. SCI will play two shows each weekend. Curated Events will include Bassrush, Bird House, Crew Love, Foreign Family Collective, Future Classic, Her Forest, HI-LO presents Heldeep, Night Bass, No Xcuses, and Turntablists.

The general on sale for wristband and lodging packages will take place on December 8.
