Eggy & Dogs In A Pile Continuing Thanksgiving Weekend Tradition At The Capitol Theatre

Eggy and Dogs In A Pile will team up to co-headline The Capitol Theatre for two nights over Thanksgiving Weekend on November 29 – 30. The on-the-rise acts pick up the “Frendsgiving” tradition started by Twiddle, who are currently on hiatus.

Each band will perform approximately 90-minute sets each night and alternate as closer. Special collaborative encores have been promised in a press release heralding the two-night stand at the historic Port Chester, New York rock palace.

“It’s not often that a place lives up to its hype, even more rare to exceed expectations. The Cap is one of those special places that words never quite do justice. We’ve had the opportunity to experience the magic as fans and have now gotten to share the stage in support of Twiddle, The Disco Biscuits, and Umphrey’s McGee. To be able to deliver a show as a headlining band (alongside our good friends, Dogs In A Pile, no less!) is an absolute dream come true. We can’t wait to celebrate this weekend with everyone,” said Eggy drummer Alex Bailey.

“This two-night run is the culmination of what both bands have been working towards for a long time. We are lucky to share it with each other and even luckier to share it with the folks that frequent a first-class venue like The Capitol Theatre,” added Dogs In A Pile keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan.

A presale is currently underway using the password PUGPUPS and runs through Thursday, September 5 at 10 p.m. ET. General on-sales follow this Friday, September 6 at 10 a.m. ET.

Eggy are gearing up to release their sophomore studio album, Waiting Game, this Friday, September 6. The quartet will embark on an extensive fall tour in support of the new LP.

Dogs In A Pile are working on a new album, set for release in 2025. The band recently announced an extensive fall tour of their own.
