Eggy shared pro-shot video featuring their cover of Big Thief’s “Time Escaping.” The well-jammed, nearly 10-minute version was filmed at Cervantes’ Other Side in Denver on April 2.
Big Thief released “Time Escaping” as the lead single from their 2022 studio album, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You. Eggy debuted their take on the tune at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on November 27, 2021 just nine days after the single was issued. Four additional versions followed including the most recent cover at Cervantes’ Other Side.
Eggy played Cervantes’ Other Side last month as part of Werk Out West. “Time Escaping” ended the quartet’s six-song set in Denver. Check out the Big Thief cover below:
