Eddie Vedder Shares ‘The Haves’ Single & Announces ‘Earthling’ Release Date

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder unveiled “The Haves,” the second single from his forthcoming solo studio album, Earthling. Vedder’s first album since 2011’s Ukulele Songs is set for release via Seattle Surf/Republic Records on February 11.

“The Haves” arrives today with an accompanying lyric video after the 56-year-old musician previously released Earthling lead single “Long Way.” Eddie Vedder tapped Andrew Watt to produce the long-awaited LP. A limited-edition 7-inch vinyl single featuring “Long Way” and “The Haves” can be purchased here.

Both “Long Way” and “The Haves” were performed live by Vedder at this year’s Ohana Festival. Eddie was backed by an all-star band for most of his Ohana sets that included Watt, former The Who tour bassist Pino Palladino, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, guitarist/vocalist Glen Hansard and former RHCP/current Pearl Jam touring guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.
