Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder closed out the second annuall installment of the baseball-themed Innings Festival on Sunday night at Tempe Beach Park in Tempe, Arizona. Vedder made Jason Isbell’s night by covering the song Isbell wrote for A Star Is Born and also mixed other covers with Pearl Jam and solo nuggets.

Vedder’s first performance of 2019 began with a gorgeous rendition of Warren Zevon’s “Keep Me In Your Heart.” He then went with “Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town,” a portion of “In God’s Country” by U2 and forgot some of the lyrics during a performance of “I Am Mine.” The set continued with a beautiful cover of Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers” and the Pearl Jam classic “Wishlist.” Eddie then debuted Isbell’s “Maybe It’s Time,” a song Jason wrote for Bradley Cooper to perform in the 2018 version of A Star Is Born.

“Far Behind” was the first song from Eddie’s solo repertoire to make the setlist in Tempe. He then performed a little bit of “Something” on ukulele and followed Pearl Jam’s “Just Breathe” with a portion of James Taylor’s “Millworker” and a cameo from Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon. The rest of the set was heavy on Pearl Jam gems such as “Unknown Thought,” “Lukin” and “Porch.” Vedder also fit in George Harriosn’s “Isn’t It A Pity,” “Last Kiss” by Wayne Cochran,” The Clash’s “Should I Stay Or Should I Go,” Bruce Springsteen’s “Open All Night” and “Hard Sun” by Indio. As of press time, there are no other U.S. dates on the books for Pearl Jam or Eddie Vedder.

Jason Isbell was extremely happy to see Eddie covered his song Check out Isbell’s reaction on Twitter to Eddie’s performance:
