Ed Sheeran landed his Loop Tour at Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Wednesday night. The show, Sheeran’s first in Puerto Rico in nine years, featured a surprise appearance by Puerto Rican reggaeton rapper Daddy Yankee.
Sheeran opened with “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You” and closed the main set with “Afterglow” before returning for a three-song encore. Three songs from the set — “I’m a Mess,” “Boat,” and “Sing” — were performed as fan requests and Beoga once again accompanied Sheeran on several songs.
“Puerto Rico, are you ready for something fun?” Sheeran teased the audience. “I’m gonna need to feel the energy though – I’m gonna need to feel the energy. Puerto Rico, will you make some noise for Daddy Yankee!”
Daddy Yankee then joined Sheeran onstage for “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 066,” the former’s 2025 collaborative track with Bizarrap. A segue into Daddy Yankee’s “Sonríele,” which also came out last year, completed his time performing alongside Sheeran.
