Ed Sheeran kicked off his year-long Loop Tour on Monday, December 1 in Paris. Irish folk band Beoga performed multiple songs with the global superstar during his concert at Le Zénith and backed Sheeran on a collaborative duet with singer Anouk.

The Loop Tour comes in support of Sheeran’s recently released eighth studio album, Play, which arrived on September 12. Ed Sheeran’s gig in Paris is part of a five-show European run, which will be followed by 2026 dates across Oceania, Latin America and North America through November 7.

Beoga has a long history of collaborating with Sheeran that dates back to the group’s appearance on Ed’s blockbuster 2017 album ÷ (Divide). The band then joined Sheeran on stage during his 2017 headlining set at Glastonbury and, following a four-year hiatus from touring and recording, reunited with Sheeran earlier in 2025 for a series of surprise gigs on both sides of the Atlantic.

Ed Sheeran delivered a 27-song performance in Paris. The setlist featured six songs from Play as well as material from all five of his studio albums named after mathematical symbols. Additionally, Sheeran threw in a pair of medleys.

Beoga initially emerged eight songs into Sheeran’s set to reprise their collaborations on ÷ cuts “Galway Girl” and “Nancy Mulligan.” The five-piece from Northern Island stuck around to assist Ed on Play track “Old Phone” and “Celestial” off 2021’s = (Equals). Beoga returned to the stage later to join Sheeran for his “Own It”/”Beautiful People”/”I Don’t Care” medley and “Camera” collaboration with Anouk.

Anouk is a contestant on the current season of French musical reality television show Star Academy. Ed Sheeran is serving as a mentor this season and appeared on its third episode. Sheeran put out “Camera” as the fifth single from Play. Anouk thanked the crowd in English and French before trading vocals with Ed Sheeran.

Ed Sheeran brought Beoga back out for his “Merry Christmas” finale. Sheeran unveiled a reworked version of the song he had written and recorded with Elton John for 2021’s The Lockdown Sessions (Christmas Edition).
