Dweezil Zappa Announces 50 Years Of Frank North American Spring Tour & Guitar Masterclasses

Guitarist Dweezil Zappa has detailed his upcoming Dweezil Zappa: 50 Years Of Frank North American Spring Tour. Zappa also confirmed guitar masterclasses in select cities and the 5th Dweezilla Learn & Destroy Music Boot Camp.

Dweezil and his band featuring multi-instrumentalists Scheila Gonzalez and David Luther, bassist Kurt Morgan, drummer Ryan Brown, keyboardist Chris Norton and vocalist Cian Coey will return to the road following a number of shows in January, with an April 25 concert at The Commodore in Vancouver, British Columbia. The 50 Years Of Frank Tour continues with nights in Portland and Lake Tahoe ahead of a swing through California with performances in San Francisco, Napa, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Solana Beach and Los Angeles. The tour also stops for a night in Tucson, Arizona.

In addition to the concerts celebrating the 50th anniversary of Frank Zappa’s debut album Freak Out!, Dweezil will host and be adding “Dweezilla On The Road” guitar masterclasses at various stops on his 2017 tour. From July 24 to 27 the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, New York will host the 5th Dweezilla Learn & Destroy Music Camp featuring instruction from Dweezil and many other talented musicians.
