DVR Rewind | Wilco Digs Deep For Tonight Show

Midwest rockers Wilco are in the middle of a run of shows celebrating the group’s 20th anniversary. Before Jeff Tweedy and Co. kick off a three-show stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, the band appeared on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Wilco, who will soon release both a greatest hits compilation and rarities collection, dug deep into their repertoire to treat Fallon to a pair of under-played gems. For the television audience, Tweedy and his mates delivered a fine rendition of the non-album track “A Magazine Called Sunset”:

As if that wasn’t enough, the episode also featured Herbie Hancock jamming with The Roots and Tweedy taking part in a game of charades with actor Ewan McGregor and basketball legend Charles Barkley:
