By Andy Kahn May 2, 2015 7:14 am PDT

Last night The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon invited My Morning Jacket to perform as the program’s musical guest. My Morning Jacket was there to promote The Waterfall, their seventh full-length studio album and follow-up to 2011’s Circuital, which will be released next Monday, May 4 via ATO Records/Capitol Records.

MMJ played The Waterfall’s second track “Compound Fracture” for Fallon’s audience. Watch as Jim James and the rest of the Louisville rockers make their Tonight Show return.

This week the band launched the Waterfall Project fund to support their charitable endeavors. The initial Waterfall Project campaign will focus primarily on environmental and climate issues, with aid going to Kentuckians For the Commonwealth, Gulf Restoration Network and Climate Justice Alliance, among other organizations. More information about the Waterfall Project can be found here

My Morning Jacket begins their world tour on Friday, May 15 at the sold-out Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia.
