Durand Jones, the frontman of Durand Jones & The Indications, recently released his debut solo album, Wait Til I Get Over. Jones brought songs from the record to life for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series.

Accompanying Jones at NPR was bassist Glenn Myers, guitarist Drake Ritter, drummer Ben Lumsdaine, keyboardist Matthew Romy and vocalist Shaq Hester. Jones also recruited three members of the Harlem Gospel TravelersIfedayo Gatling, George Marage and Dennis Keith Bailey III — to provide additional backing vocals.
