It’s been a fantastic 2013 for Dumpstaphunk, who released a new album, made many memorable festival appearances and even opened a handful of shows for Lionel Richie. Ivan Neville and Co. have unveiled a new video for a track off that album, Dirty Word, for “Dancin’ To The Truth.”

The video was filmed at famed New Orleans club Howlin’ Wolf during the band’s 2013 Mardi Gras shows at the venue and also features archival footage from traditional street celebrations of New Orleans. “The video reiterates that music is the truth. We are fortunate that there’s still an audience out there that wants to hear music like this, from real musicians playing it live,” Neville said in a statement announcing the video. “But we also left a lot to the imagination, so that people can feel that groove and let it take them wherever they want.”
