Dropkick Murphys released a new song, “Citizen I.C.E.” featuring fellow Boston band Haywire. The song in response to the killings of Renée Good and Alex Pretti as well as the federal occupation of Minneapolis is set to appear on DKM and Haywire’s split LP New England Forever.

Recorded in late 2025, “Citizen I.C.E.” is a reworking of Dropkick Murphy’s 2005 song, “Citizen C.I.A.” In a preview of the new track on social media, the band stated:

“As Americans are being executed in the street, we feel it is our duty to raise consciousness, and be one of the voices speaking against this nightmare. CITIZEN I.C.E. is FOR THE PEOPLE. Stand strong against tyranny. Use it however you want.

In Solidarity, with Love, Dropkick Murphys”
