HeAthen’s Homecoming & more: Drive-By Truckers Announce US Spring Tour 2023
Margo Cilker and Lydia Loveless will each open select shows on the trek.

Drive-By Truckers confirmed details of their 2023 Spring Tour of America. The band’s headlining trek features dates in March, April and May including their annual four-day HeAthen’s Homecoming run at Athens, Georgia’s 40 Watt club March 29 – April 1.
Margo Cilker will support for the March portion of the tour leading into HeAthen’s Homecoming 2023. Drive-By Truckers launch the excursion in the Midwest with shows in Indianapolis on March 9; Detroit on March 10; Milwaukee on March 11; Madison, Wisconsin on March 12; Iowa City, Iowa on March 14 and Urbana, Illinois on March 15.

The tour rolls into Louisville, Kentucky on March 17; St. Louis on March 18; Fayetteville, Arkansas on March 19 and Oklahoma City on March 21. A swing through Texas follows with stops in Dallas on March 23 and Austin on March 25 before gigs in New Orleans on March 25 and Birmingham, Alabama on March 26. This year’s HeAthen’s Homecoming comes next March 29 – April 1 with different support each night.
Drive-By Truckers tapped Lydia Loveless to open most dates on the final leg of the tour. The group returns to the road in Florida for shows in St. Petersburg on April 20, Fort Lauderdale on April 21 and Orlando on April 22. A show in Columbia, South Carolina on April 23 paves the way for two-night stands in Saxapahaw, North Carolina April 25 – 26 and Washington D.C. April 29 – 30. DBT plays Richmond’s Brown’s Island in between on April 28.
The band plays the intimate confines of Levon Helm Studios on May 2. It’s then off to New York City for shows on May 4 and 5. Drive-By Truckers hit Albany New York on May 8; Munhall, Pennsylvania on May 9 and Columbus on May 11. The tour concludes with another two-night stand, as DBT will play Asheville, North Carolina’s Orange Peel on May 12 and 13.
