The A.V. Club have rolled out the latest installment of its Holiday Undercover series. In the video below, members of Drive-By Truckers serve up a dirge-y take on Greg Lake’s severely underrated holiday song “I Believe In Father Christmas.”

The song was originally released by Lake, one-third of supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer, in 1975. Greg scored a huge hit with “I Believe In Father Christmas” as it went all the way to #2 on the U.K. charts and was only kept from #1 by Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Drive-By Truckers frontman Patterson Hood was joined by Jay Gonzalez for a stripped-down version of the song.
