Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors enlisted former member and frontman Drew Holcomb‘s wife vocalist Ellie Holcomb to join them on the new single, “Burn.” The song appears on the band’s forthcoming album, Strangers No More Volume Two, which arrives on September 12.

Strangers No More Volume Two was recorded during the same sessions that yielded Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors’ 2023 LP, Strangers No More. The new collection marks the band’s 10th full-length album and includes their cover of Adele's “When We Were Young.”

Drew Holcomb shared the following in regards to “Burn”:

“It’s a tale as old as time itself…the lament of the heartbroken longing for the one that was probably never that interested in the first place. The sirens in Homer’s Odyssey to Daisy Buchanan in the Great Gatsby and a hundred classic heartbreak songs. ‘Burn’ is a song about getting too close to the fire, but you do it anyway, hoping maybe your story won’t be the same as those who came before you.”
