Dr. Dog Gives Pizza To Fans In San Francisco

Dr. Dog ended a sold-out four-night stand at The Independent in San Francisco on Saturday by giving out pizza to attendees. The Philadelphia-based band played few repeats throughout the run.
Fittingly, Dr. Dog kicked off the residency with “California” on Wednesday night. “California” would be one of over 70 different songs performed by the band at The Independent and they did reprise the tune to end their main set on Saturday. “Nellie,” “The Breeze,” “That Old Black Hole,” “Where’d All The Time Go?,” “Shadow People,” “Broken Heart,” “Jim Song,” “Lonesome,” “Heart It Races,” “Take Me Into Town,” “Bring My Baby Back,” “How Long Must I Wait,” “I Only Wear Blue” and “The Rabbit, The Bat & The Reindeer” were each played twice, while “Jackie Want A Black Eye” made it into three setlists.
