Dopapod Performs At Paradise Rock Club: Pro-Shot Full Show Video

On Friday night, Dopapod played their first of two nights at the Paradise Rock Club. The band released pro-shot video, put together by videographer MKDevo, featuring Friday’s concert.

The quartet opened their first of four sets in Boston with classic “Turnin’ Knobs” and the recently debuted “Numbers Need Humans.” Dopapod then worked teases of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” into “Picture In Picture” before dusting off a cover of Nine Inch Nails‘ “Closer” for the first time since 2014. Next, the jam act debuted new original “Time Is Funny” and closed the set by pairing “Eight Years Ended” and “Present Ghosts.”

Dopapod got their second set on Friday underway with a “New James” that foreshadowed what would follow via teases of “Onionhead” and “FABA.” Next up was “FABA,” which featured more “Smells Like Teen Spirit” teases from guitarist Rob Compa. The first two songs of the set spanned over 35 minutes and were followed by the five-year-old original “Nerds.” The previously-hinted-at “Onionhead” and an expansive “Black & White” ended the frame. Dopapod said farewell with a “Nuggy Jawson” encore, marking the song’s first appearance since the band’s “reunion show” at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on April 27.
