Dopapod & The Motet Team Up For ’90s Classics

Funk revivalists The Motet recently completed a run of dates with jam act Dopapod. The run featured a number of collaborations including members of each band teaming for three different ’90s classics.

On November 16, the groups brought the tour to the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Motet vocalist Lyle Divinsky and other members of his band joined Dopapod for a cover of “Waterfalls” by TLC. Watch fan-shot video of the collaboration captured by MKDevo:

Then, on November 17, Dopapod welcomed Divinsky for their set-closer. Dopapod and Lyle teamed for a rendition of R. Finally, on November 18, both bands ended the night at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta with yet another R&B gem from the ’90s. Divinsky led the gathered ensemble on Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It.” Watch fan-shot video captured by Funkcity.net:
