By Scott Bernstein Feb 28, 2020 • 11:26 am PST

Doom Flamingo shared pro-shot video featuring their performance of “The Best,” a song popularized by Tina Turner, at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver. The clip was filmed by Ninja Video Production on December 29, 2019 at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver.
Vocalist Kanika Moore is joined in Doom Flamingo by Umphrey’s McGee bassist Ryan Stasik as well as guitarist Thomas Kenney, drummer Stu White, keyboardist Ross Bogan and saxophonist Mike Quinn. “The Best” is a staple of the band’s live performances. While Bonnie Tyler originally released the song on her 1988 album Hide Your Heart, Tina Turner scored a hit with her version — which was included on Foreign Affair — a year later.
