The Doobie Brothers announced details of 11 new tour dates throughout North America with Michael McDonald as part of their 50 Anniversary Tour. Tickets for the newly announced concerts go on sale this Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. local venue time. Purchase Doobie Brothers tickets on Ticketmaster.

Originally announced in 2020, the anniversary trek finally began last year after a postponement due to the pandemic. McDonald’s first tour with The Doobie Brothers in over 25 years will resume for a second leg that now spans June 2 – October 12 following a spring residency in Las Vegas.

The first of the new dates will take place at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham, Alabama on September 2. Other September dates added to the excursion are stops in Bridgeport, Connecticut (September 11); Chicago (September 14); Welch, Minnesota (September 16); Portland, Oregon (September 24); Mountain View, California (September 27); Wheatland, California (September 29) and San Diego (September 30).

Four October concerts are currently slated to bring the two-year-long run to a close. The Doobie Brothers featuring Michael McDonald will play Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California on October 2 before heading to Phoenix on October 4 and Dallas on October 7. Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena will host what for now is the final show of the tour on October 12.
