DJ Williams’ Shots Fired released a new single, “Gimme A Minute.” The track arrives via Denver’s Color Red record label founded by The New Mastersounds’ Eddie Roberts.
Guitarist DJ Williams’ driving “Gimme A Minute” draws inspiration from The Police’s 1983 album, Synchronicity. Josh Fairman of Denver’s Scanhope Sound produced the track. The lineup for “Gimme A Minute” consists of Kowan Turner on drums, Dan Africano on bass, Scott Flynn on trombone, Nick Gerlach on saxophone, André Mali on trumpet and New Mastersounds keyboardist Joe Tatton on organ.

“This song is the anthem for The Seductress in my series and it ain’t no lullaby,” Williams said in a statement. “It’s fierce and drives like all the strong women in my life. It was really great working with Joe Tatton of The New Mastersounds who really shines on the organ on this track. This may be one of my favorite tunes to play live. It’s just a solid feel good riff.”
