DJ Williams Forms New Band: DJ Williams & Shots Fired

Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe guitarist DJ Williams is relocating to Los Angeles and to mark the occasion he’s formed a new band being called DJ Williams & Shots Fired. The new outfit will make their debut with a pair of concerts in California next month.

Williams enlisted a number of talented musicians to fill out Shots Fired, bringing on drummer Dusty Simmons, bassist Chris Stillwell of The Greyboy Allstars, keyboardist David Veith of KDTU, saxophonist Daniel “Dela” Delacruz and trombonist Andy Geib of Slightly Stoopid and trumpeter Mark Ingraham. The band will make their live debut on October 6 at Winston’s in San Diego. The next night they’ll assemble at The Mint in Los Angeles for a performance on October 7. Special guests are expected at one or both of the concerts.
