The 2019 Dirt Farmer Festival has been canceled. Organizers of the event, who run Levon Helm Studios, made the decision after Phil Lesh pulled out of the event to undergo back surgery. Instead, a pair of concerts will be held on those same dates, September 6 and 7 featuring many of the same acts on the lineup.

The second annual Dirt Farmer Festival was slated to be held at Arrowwood Farms in Accord, New York. Phil and Grahame Lesh were slated to perform with headliners The Midnight Ramble Band. Now, The Midnight Ramble Band will perform at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, New York on both September 6 and 7. Mercury Rev, Anders Osborne and Birds of Chicago round out the lineup on September 6, while Steve Earle, Phil Cook and Elizabeth & The Catapult are also aboard on September 7.

Tickets to the concerts at Levon Helm Studios go on sale Thursday, August 29 at 12 p.m. ET via Eventbrite (September 6, September 7).
