Devon Allman Announces Tour In Support Of New Album ‘Blues Summit’
The blues-rock guitarist will hit the road in August with special guests including Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray and Sierra Green.

Devon Allman will release a new, guest-filled The Devon Allman Project album entitled Blues Summit this summer via RUF Records. Allman will follow the record’s release and a string of European festival performances by embarking on the Blues Summit U.S. Tour.
Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Robert Randolph, Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray, Sierra Green are among those who contributed to Allman’s forthcoming album. The live shows will feature Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray and Sierra Green joining The Devon Allman Project.

The U.S. tour begins on August 7 in Baton Rouge (Louisiana) and continues on August 8 at The Rosa Hart Theatre in Lake Charles (Louisiana). Performances at the Saenger Theater in Pensacola (Florida) on August 9 and the Montgomery Performing Arts Center in Montgomery (Alabama) on August 10 follow. Additional stops include The Coves in Union Hall (Virginia) on August 13, The Beacon Theater in Hopewell (Virginia) on August 14 and Infinity Hall in Norfolk (Connecticut) on August 15.
Mid-August sees the blues-rock guitarist performing in Jordan (New York) on August 16 and in Kingston (New York) on August 17. The tour rolls on with shows in Atlantic City (New Jersey) on August 20, Cranston (Rhode Island) on August 21 and Nashua (New Hampshire) on August 23.
After a brief break, the tour resumes in September with performances at MIM in Phoenix on September 4 and Big Blues Bender in Las Vegas on September 5. The West Coast leg includes stops in San Juan Capistrano (California) on September 6, Santa Fe (New Mexico) on September 9, Beaver Creek (Colorado) on September 10 and Parker (Colorado) on September 11. The tour concludes with a previously announced appearance at the prestigious Telluride Blues & Brews festival in Telluride (Colorado).
Tickets for the new headline dates go on sale this Friday, April 25 at 10 a.m. local time.
