Last year promoters Goldenvoice scored a huge hit with Desert Trip, which attracted over 75,000 a weekend for two weeks at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. While rumors have been swirling that Led Zeppelin would reunite for a 2017 installment of the event dubbed by fans as “Oldchella,” it’s not in the cards. Desert Trip founder Paul Tollett of Goldenvoice told Billboard the festival will not return in 2017.

“We’re not doing Desert Trip this year,” Tollett said to Billboard. “We loved 2016 Desert Trip — that was a special moment in time. Maybe someday in the future we’ll do something similar.” Last fall’s event featured Roger Waters, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young and Bob Dylan. Billboard notes the inaugural Desert Trip grossed $160 million over two weekends.
