Delta Spirit Releases ‘Villains’ Single
Listen to the latest single from the band’s pending LP, ‘One Is One.’

Delta Spirit recently shared the new single “Villains.” The track appears on the quartet’s forthcoming studio album, One Is One.
The 10-song One Is One arrives via New West Records on May 20. Delta Spirit produced the follow-up to 2020’s What Is There with Jason Kingsland (Band Of Horses, Belle And Sebastian). Previously released singles include title track “One Is One” and “What’s Done Is Done.”
“‘Villains’ is about finding love, and growing up to keep it,” explained frontman Matthew Logan Vasquez. “I was an absolute mess when I first met my wife. We were just friends for three years before it was even in the realm of possibility that we’d get together. Nayarit is a region in Mexico where I convinced her to be my girlfriend. It’s a special memory I think about often and wanted to commemorate it.”
