DelFest | String Cheese Welcomes Del McCoury, Jeff Austin & More

DelFest 2014 took place over the weekend at the Alleghany County Fairgrounds in Cumberland, MD. String Cheese Incident made their DelFest debut count with a pair of guest-filled sets on Sunday.

SCI kicked off the first set with “Song In My Head,” the title track off their recently released studio album. Joe Craven emerged four songs into the opening stanza to lend a hand on “Smile.” The guest parade continued with festival host Del McCoury joining Cheese for “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.” Bluegrass all-stars Tim O’Brien and Nick Forster then came out for “Land’s End” before the set concluded with a “I Know You Rider” that saw guest spots from Jeff Austin as well as O’Brien and Forster. String Cheese was later augmented by The Travelin’ McCourys on “Colorado Bluebird Sky” deep in the second set.
