DelFest Announces 2018 Late Night Lineup

The 2018 DelFest will take place at Allegany County Fairgrounds in Cumberland, Maryland on May 24 – 27. Organizers revealed the late night performance schedule for this year’s event.

The separately ticketed shows taking place at DelFest Music Hall after performances end on the Grandstand Stage begin with Fruition and The Lil Smokies on May 24. The next night will feature late night sets by The California Honeydrops and Dustbowl Revival. The May 26 late night lineup includes Billy Strings and The Brothers Comatose. DelFest 2018 will also present The Travelin’ McCourys’ Midnight Convention and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades late night on May 27. Head here for complete late night information.

The 11th annual Delfest will once again feature hosting headliners The Del McCoury Band, along with Greensky Bluegrass, The Dawg Trio with David Grisman, Danny Barnes, Sam Grisman, Richard Thompson, The Infamous Stringdusters, Rhiannon Giddens, Mandolin Orange, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Wood Brothers, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Sam Bush, The Jerry Douglas Band, Rising Appalachia, Sierra Hull and many others.

DelFest 2018 will also feature a special Saturday night performance by The Bluegrass Congress featuring Del McCoury and a hand-selected group of musicians including Ricky Skaggs, David Grisman, Sam Bush, Béla Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton and Stuart Duncan. The Travelin’ McCourys and friends will host a three-day music academy immediately preceding DelFest. The DelFest Academy takes place May 21 – 23 and offers an opportunity to learn from some of the best pickers in the world for all levels of musicians.
