Paramore’s Hayley Williams Reunites With Deftones In Nashville

Deftones’ 2025 U.S. Spring Tour rolled into Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday. The rockers brought Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams out to kick off their encore in Music City.

Hayley Williams grew up in and co-founded Paramore in Franklin, Tennessee just outside of Nashville in 2004. As Brooklyn Vegan pointed out, Williams previously performed with Deftones 15 years ago at Luxembourg’s Rock-A-Field Festival in 2010.

The Luxembourg performance saw Hayley joining Deftones for their “Passenger.” The song off the band’s 2000 album White Pony was a collaboration with Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan with Williams handling his vocal part for the festival guest spot.

For her hometown appearance with Deftones on Wednesday, Hayley added vocals to Deftones’ “Minerva,” appearing on the band’s 2003 self-titled album. Williams romped around the stage and sang harmony vocals with frontman Chino Moreno on “Minerva” in Nashville. Watch the performance below:

Deftones’ setlist also includes favorites such as “Change (In the House of Flies),” “Sextape,” “Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away),” “My Own Summer (Shove It),” “Digital Bath” and “Rosemary.” Following the Hayley Williams guest spot, Deftones wrapped the concert with “Bored” and “7 Words.”
