Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe Add US Stadium Shows To ‘The World Tour’ 2023

Alice Cooper will hit the road with his fellow Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees.

Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe co-headlined the biggest North American stadium tour of 2022, as over 1.3 million tickets were sold for their The Stadium Tour outing. The bands recently revealed they are bringing the trek to Europe and Latin America in 2023 and today announced a handful of U.S. tour dates featuring special guest Alice Cooper.

The first U.S. stop for The World Tour will take place at Syracuse, New York’s JMA Wireless Dome on August 5. Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe and Alice Cooper then play Columbus, Ohio on August 8; Fargo, North Dakota on August 11; Omaha, Nebraska on August 13 and Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 16. The U.S. leg is currently scheduled to end with a show at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas on August 18.

Tickets for U.S. The World Tour dates will go on sale Friday, December 16 at 10 a.m. local time through Citi cardmembers presale tickets can be purchased from Tuesday, December 13 at 10 a.m. local venue time until Thursday, December 15 at 10 p.m. local time. “After finally getting back on the road this past summer, we’re beyond thrilled to bring this massive tour to a global audience including some special dates in America!” exclaimed Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott.

“We had an incredible time playing The Stadium Tour in North America this summer and we truly can’t wait to take the show around the globe with The WORLD Tour in 2023. Crüeheads get ready because we have a few amazing U.S. dates set for you!” Mötley Crüe added in a joint statement.

The World Tour will be Mötley Crüe’s first shows with new guitarist John 5. Guitarist Mick Mars retired from touring due to his painful struggle with Ankylosing Spondylitis.
