Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live featured a performance by The Decemberists. The band appeared in support of their first album since 2018, the recently released As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again.
The Decemberists selected the new album’s opening track, “Burial Ground,” for their late-night talk show appearance. The song was one of 13 making up the As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again tracklist. The band’s ninth album was produced by lead singer Colin Meloy and Tucker Martine.

Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live was guest-hosted by Anthony Anderson, with Howie Mandel and Roy Wood Jr. also appearing on the program.
