Death Cab For Cutie Performs The Current Microshow & Announces Free Webcast

Earlier this year, Death Cab for Cutie performed a special microshow for Minneapolis public radio station The Current. Ben Gibbard along with Dave Depper and Zac Rae played a four-song acoustic set for an audience at The Forum, the station’s performance space above their studios.

The trio delivered “Gold Rush” and “Your Hurricane” from their recently released ninth studio album Thak You For Today. Gibbard and his bandmates looked to Narrow Stairs for “Cath” and reached all the way back to 2003’s Transatlanticism for “Title Registration.” Death Cab also announced that they’ve partnered with The Current for a webcast of their gig from The Palace Theatre in St. Paul on Saturday, October 6.
