Dean Ween Writes Excuse Letter For Fan Attending Colorado Shows

This Friday, Ween returns to the stage for the first time since December 31, 2011 as they kick off a series of three shows at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado. Diehard Ween fan Kevin Klebacher wants to be on hand, but he has exams for a Physics class just around the same time. Klebacher explained the situation to Ween guitarist Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo who penned a note to Kevin’s professor asking to have the fan take his final at a different time.

Deaner downplays the possibility of more shows, likely to gain favor with the professor. The guitarist explains the situation and talks about his career within the letter. Ween fans on Reddit have posted a copy of Deaner’s letter as well as an image showing Mickey holding the letter both of which can be seen below. No word yet on whether the professor was willing to change the time of the exam.
