Dead & Company Announces Summer Tour 2019
Dead & Company will embark on a 19-date summer tour next year. The six-piece announced the trek which crosses the country and spans May 31 – July 6, 2019.
Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti kick off the tour with two nights at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California May 31 and June 1. The band then plays two nights a piece at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington. Next up is a concert at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana on June 12 ahead of two nights at Wrigley Field in Chicago on June 14 and 15.
Dead & Company continues the tour in the Northeast with stops in Saratoga Springs, New York on June 18; Camden, New Jersey on June 20; Foxborough, Massachusetts on June 22 and Queens, New York on June 23. From there, the sextet visits Bristow, Virginia on June 26; Charlotte on June 28; Atlanta on June 29 and Dallas on July 2. The tour is currently slated to end with two nights at Folsom Field in Boulder on July 5 and 6. Tickets go on sale Saturday, December 8 at 10 a.m. local time via Livenation.com. A series of presales start on December 3.
