Dead & Company Extend Las Vegas Sphere Residency Into August

Dead & Company added six August shows to their Dead Forever Residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. The run now consists of 30 shows with the new dates scheduled for Thursday, August 1 – Saturday, August 3 and Thursday, August 8 – Saturday, August 10.

Presale registration is currently underway through deadandcompany.com. The Artist Presale starts on Thursday, May 30 at 10 a.m. PT. General on-sales follow beginnning at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, May 31. VIP and Travel Packages are on sale now via Vibee.

Dead & Company — guitarists Bob Weir and John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and drummers Mickey Hart and Jay Lane — kicked off the Dead Forever residency on May 16. Six of the now 30 shows have been played thus far.

Thr Grateful Dead offshoot is the third band to perform at the state-of-the-art venue following U2‘s 40-show run and Phish‘s four-night stand. Dead & Company returns to Sphere this Thursday, May 30 to begin the third weekend of the Dead Forever residency.
